1 - Walt Disney Takes You to Fantasyland - Fantasyland Suite  8:10

Walt Disney invites visitors to the land nearest and dearest to his heart, Fantasyland. 2 - Sleeping Beauty Castle Drawbridge - When You Wish Upon a Star 3:17

The magical symbol of the Magical Kingdom is the majestic and enchanted Sleeping Beauty Castle, representing all that makes Disneyland the Happiest Place on Earth. As guests cross over the drawbridge and through its towering portico, they hear the song that best exemplifies the true spirit of the entire Disney organization.

3 - Fantasyland Attraction Preview - Jack Wagner  1:55

Jack Wagner describes the many attractions found in Fantasyland. Here, guests can ride a stately carousel stallion, a magical flying elephant, a madly spinning tea cup, a colorful circus train, a mine cart into the dwarf's diamond mine, a flying pirate ship over moonlit London, or a peaceful canal boat through a miniature storybook garden.

4 - The Disneyland Band - Fantasyland Castle Concert  4:18

The Disneyland band can be found all over Disneyland throughout the day. In addition to performances on the bow of the Mark Twain Steamboat, or aboard the galloping horses on the King Arthur Carrousel, they are often found in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, performing favorite Disney songs in their signature style.

5 - Snow White's Wishing Well  2:19

In an enchanted grotto, at the eastern end of Sleeping Beauty Castle, is a collection of elegant Italian marble statues representing Snow White and each of her Seven Dwarfs. In the adjacent courtyard is an enchanted wishing well, where guests hear the echoes of a wishful love song, sung by the fairytale princess herself.

6 - Sleeping Beauty Castle Walk-Through  6:28

Guests relive one of Disney's most beloved fairytale legends as they tour the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle, wandering through winding passageways where the timeless tale of Princess Aurora and the evil Maleficent has been brought to life in three-dimensional displays enhanced with fantastical features and stunning visual effects.

7 - King Arthur Carrousel - Original Fantasyland Band Organ  9:10

When Fantasyland underwent a complete renovation in the 1980's, the carousel was repositioned several feet north to improve what had become a crowd flow issue directly behind the castle. Surprisingly, the original band organ did not play Disney songs. Here is a sample of the type of music typically experienced in those earlier days.

8 - Fantasyland Polka Band  1:15

The charming storybook architecture found throughout Fantasyland's castle coutyard reminds Disneyland guests of a quaint little European village on the day the royal circus has come into town, so a lively and colorful polka band serves as the perfect musical compliment to this festive Fantasyland Bavarian carnival.

9 - Captain Hook's Pirate Galleon - The Chicken of the Sea  1:23

A fondly remembered icon of the original Fantasyland was Captain Hook's colorful pirate galleon, known as The Chicken of the Sea. The boat was docked within a sandy cove amidst steep coral cliffs and an imposing Skull Rock, replicating scenes from the Disney classic, "Peter Pan." The ship's galley functioned as a seafood restaurant.

10 - Three Cute-Lasses - The Pirate Trio  8:35

In the 1960's, a trio of young ladies, referred to as "Three Cute-Lasses,"  would often perform live aboard a small raft anchored in the lagoon next to the Chicken of the Sea restaurant. Dressed in appropriately themed, yet somewhat provocative pirate garb, their musical repertoire included sea chanties and other recognizable songs of the sea.

11 - Mickey Mouse Theater - Cartoon Cavalcade  13:43

Where the Pinocchio attraction resides today, the original Fantasyland had a large indoor theater where classic Walt Disney cartoons were always on the playbill. At the Cartoon Cavalcade of the 1950's, three classic Mickey Mouse shorts from the 1930's were presented continously, Mickey's Trailor, Thru the Mirror and The Band Concert.

12 - Fantasyland Theatre - Mickey Mouse Club 3-D Jamboree  23:23

One early offering at the Fantasyland Theatre was called the Mickey Mouse Club 3D Jamboree. It starred the original Mouseketeers from the popular television series who appeared in third dimension to introduce two colorful 3D cartoon shorts... Working for Peanuts, starring Donald, Chip and Dale, and a special musical short called Melody.

13 - Casey Jr. Circus Train  4:02

Casey Junior was the friendly little engine that could, as featured in the 1941 Walt Disney animated feature Dumbo. Casey has been chugging through Fantasyland since Disneyland's opening day. He carries passengers through Storybook Land, a miniature world of fairytale settings as featured in many classic Walt Disney films.

14 - Storybook Land Grotto - Area Background Music  5:01

Fantasyland's canal boat ride was originally called the Canal Boats of the World when it first premiered at Disneyland on opening day. Walt Disney planned to add miniature versions of famous world landmarks to the then barren shores, but the idea would instead evolve into a miniature Disney storybook village.

15 - Storybook Land Canal Boats  8:03

Sailing through the belly of a whale, passengers drift into an enchanted land filled with the miniature dwellings of many beloved Disney storybook characters, including the Three Little Pigs and their homes of straw, sticks and bricks, Snow White's forest cottage, Cinderella's castle, Toad Hall, the old Dutch mill and Geppetto's village.

16 - Fantasyland Skyway - Swiss Chalet Terminal  2:45

The Skyway gave passengers a bird's eye view of the park, soaring high above Fantasyland, through the cavity of the Matterhorn and over Tomorrowland. On the exterior of Fantasyland's Swiss Chalet terminal were stenciled the dormouse's words from Alice in Wonderland... "Up above the world you'll fly, like a tea tray in the sky."

17 - Matterhorn Mountain Climbers Announcement  4:46

Rising 145 feet tall, the majestic snow-capped Matterhorn is the highest point in all of Disneyland. It is also a 1/100th accurate scale replica of the original Swiss peak, and was the first man-made mountain ever constructed. Adding even more authenticity, the mountain is often scaled by expert mountain climbers during peak operational seasons.

18 - Fred Burri: Swiss Yodeler  17:06

Throughout the 50's and 60's Disneyland had its own official Swiss yodeler, Fred Burri, who added the perfect atmospheric musical compliment to Fantasyland's Matterhorn area. Burri would perform traditional Alpine folkmusic on his accordion as he yodeled along, and was often joined by Swiss bell ringers and elongated alphorn blowers.

19 - The Disneyland Band - It's a Small World Fanfare  1:58

The Disneyland Band pauses in front of It's a Small World to play one of the best known and loved Disney anthems of all time. Composed by the Academy Award winning song writing team of Richard and Robert Sherman, It's a Small World is the most internationally recognizable song to ever be written for a Disney attraction.

20 - It's a Small World - Ticket Booth Announcement  0:51

Disneyland's world famous attraction, It's a Small World, first premiered at the 1964 New York World's Fair and was originally sponsored by Pepsi-Cola to promote the United Nations Children's Fund. It became the smash hit of the fair, and so it was inevitable that it would come home to Disneyland, opening in Fantasyland in 1966.

21 - It's a Small World Attraction Preview - Jack Wagner  2:54

Before we embark upon the happiest cruise that ever sailed the seven seas, Jack Wagner provides a preview of the many wondrous sights and sounds we can expect to see and hear along the way, including its cast of hundreds of internationally costumed Audio-Animatronic dolls representing children from all around the world.

22 - It's a Small World - Area Background Music  4:19

An instrumental preview of the musical score for the It's a Small World attraction can be heard as a backdrop to the colorful gardens located in the surrounding queue area. The many painstakingly and lovingly manicured animal topiaries found here are most certainly among the pride and joy of the Disneyland landscaping staff.
