- Matterhorn Bobsleds -

The Matterhorn was the first steel roller coaster ever constructed when it premiered in 1959. Passengers brace against howling winds as they climb over 80 feet high inside the cavernous lair of the legendary Abominable Snowman. At the summit, guests begin a high-speed bobsled run back down the mountain, careening around corners, weaving around brilliantly glowing ice crystals, and splashing down into an Alpine lake.

The comical Mr. Smythe and Mr. Jones host these shows, blending Vaudevillian antics with Shakespearean style.
